ONICUS welcomes your visit to our website and wants you to feel safe and comfortable whilst using it. Therefore, we take the protection of your personal information very seriously and treat it confidentially and in accordance with the statutory General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). With this privacy policy we would like to inform you about the scope and purpose of collecting and processing personal data. Please note that Internet-based data transmissions may have security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of the data from access by third parties is not possible. 3. TECHNICAL ASPECTS

Our website uses an SSL or TLS encryption to ensure the security of data processing and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as contact requests you send us. An encrypted connection can be recognized by the fact that the address bar of the browser contains an “https://” instead of an “http://” and the lock symbol in your browser bar. The legal basis for processing the data is provided by Art. 6 Subparagraph 1 S.1 Point f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the listed purposes of data acquisition. In no case we use the data acquired in order to draw conclusions concerning your person.

b) BY USING OUR CONTACT FORM

For questions of any kind, we offer you the option to contact us with a form provided on the website. It is necessary to state the complete name and a valid email address so that we know who the inquiry has come from and in order to answer it.
Data processing for the purpose of establishing contact with us by using the contact form takes place according to Art. 6 para. 1 point a GDPR based of your consent, which is given voluntarily.
The personal data collected by using the contact form are saved for the purpose of processing the request or in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent and they are erased until finishing the inquiry you made.

c) APPLICATION

If you would like to apply to us we offer the option of submitting your application documents by using a form provided on the website. It is necessary to state the complete name and a valid email address so that we know who the application has come from and in order to answer it.
Data processing for the purpose of application process and using the submitting form takes place according to Art. 6 Subparagraph 1 S. 1 Point a GDPR based of your consent, which is given voluntarily.
The personal data collected by using the form for submitting the application are safed for the purpose of processing the application. We do not pass on this data without your consent and they are erased until finishing application process.

5. WEB ANALYSIS SERVICE MATOMO AND THE USE OF COOKIES

Our website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo. This uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files stored on your computer and allows an analysis of the use of the website by you. For this purpose, the information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is stored on our server. The IP address is made anonymus before saving.
The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website won‘t be disclosed to third parties. You can prevent the storage of cookies by a corresponding setting of your browser software. Alternativly, when you visit our website, you will be asked for your consent to the use of cookies. This consent is stored in form of a cookie too. 6. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

RIGHT TO INFORMATION
In accordance with Article 15 GDPR, you have the right to request confirmation from us whether personal data relating you is being processed and the right to information about this as well as all other information in accordance with Article 15.

RIGHT TO RECTIFICATION
In accordance with Article 16 GDPR, you have the right to demand immediate correction of incorrect personal data relating you. Furthermore, you have the right, taking into account the purposes of the processing, to request the completion of incomplete personal data - also by means of a supplementary declaration.

RIGHT TO ERASURE
In accordance with Article 17 GDPR, you have the right to erase your personal data without delay, if one of the reasons provided by law applies and to the extent that processing is not necessary.

RIGHT TO RESTRICTION OF PROCESSING
You have the right to restrict processing if the requirements set out in Article 18 GDPR are met. According to this, the restriction of processing is required, if the processing is unlawful and the person concerned refuses to erase the personal data and instead requests the restriction of the use of the personal data, or the person concerned objects to the processing according to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, as long as it is not certain, whether our legitimate reasons prevail over those of the person concerned (data subject).

RIGHT TO DATA PORTABILITY (transferability)
In accordance with Article 20 GDPR you have the right to data portability. Means, you have the right to receive the personal data that you provided us in a structured, common and machine-readable format and the right to transfer data to another person responsible. The prerequisite for this is that the processing is based on a consent in accordance with the article and is carried out using automated procedures.

RIGHT TO OBJECT
You have the right at any time, for reasons arising out of your particular situation, to object the processing of personal data concerning you, including based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e or f GDPR takes place, to file an objection according to Art. 21 GDPR. We will cease the processing of your personal data unless we can establish compelling legitimate reasons for processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assertions, exercise or defence of legal claims.

RIGHT TO COMLPAIN TO A SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY
According to Article 77 GDPR you have the right to complain by a supervisory authority. Usually, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our company location.
